Guidance from the Health and Safety Executive
The HSE are the people that will prosecute you if you have an accident, so it makes sense to take their advice and guidance on board. The good news is that the HSE are extremely helpful, and publish lots of information on their website. We have, with their kind permission, included a few links to relevant documents. You can buy the documents from their website, but most are available as a free of charge download.
